The principal functions carried out by this section refer to contacts with schools and universities for guided tours and apprenticeship stage, dealing with the specific knowledge of activities and areas of expertise in the ICCD. The service is occupied with the processing of specific content (multimedia and printed products) and experimental content (directions for cataloguing with the regulation layout 3.00) Moreover is has to provide information for the following subjects:
- didactic modules for the teaching of cataloguing and the cards related to the different sections of heritage for cataloguing, in e-learning;
- operative support for the normal procedures of the internal cataloguing cycle relative to the organising of procedures necessary to the area of indexing;
- critical analysis of the determining regulatory problems of the different typologies of card;
- teaching aids relating to the terminology regulating tools.
The Office reports by the Schools and Universities producing tours and work-training courses, on topics of specific knowledge of the activities and areas of expertise.
Through specific Conventions the Institute guarantees tenures of courses and master activated by public and private Universities.
Currently:
- University of Studies of Siena, faculty of Letters and Philosophy of Arezzo: professional course on “digitalised Cataloguing of Historical, Artistic and Architectonic heritage”;
- Catholic University of Milan Master in “Digital Cataloguing of the Cultural Heritage of Artistic History goods”;
- University for Studies of Modena and Reggio Emilia faculty of Letters and Philosophy University Masters Level I in: Digitalised Cataloguing of Cultural Goods - SIGeC”.
